Plants, trees and insects

While John was best known for his wildlife pictures, he was drawn to patterns in landscape at all levels, from the rock pools on the seashore to lichens on moorland rocks, to gnarly trees in ancient forests.  Many of the tree pictures here were created during and after two trips with the Society of Wildlife Artists (SWLA) to the New Forest in Hampshire UK and to the less well known ancient oaklands of the Sunart peninsular on the west coast of Scotland.

Pictures with a <buy now> link are available from our online shop. The others are also for sale but may take longer to send to you. Please contact us about them.
